E-Ink Underground

My final major project at University involved researching electrophoretic ink (E-ink) technology that is now commonly used in the Kindle and flexible phone screens. Requiring very little power due to its paper-like front-lit characteristics, I set about visualizing how this innovative tech could be deployed in the London Underground.

10 years after my project was released, London Underground began rolling out E-Ink for their signage systems. You're welcome.
